I always liked to post these threads a few times a year where we try to make something complete from parts mentioned in Bruce songs. I remember we made a gruesome monster, built an almost running car and maybe there was another project or two. Anyway, I always enjoyed those threads for the deep dives into the lyrics, sort of like a scavenger hunt; so let's try another one.
Some of you took it upon yourself to build us this new home, so in honor of you, let's see if we can build a house and furnish it only from things mentioned in Bruce Springsteen songs. This can include tools and laborers, places to get supplies, anything to do with building a house and anything you might use to furnish one.
I'll get us going with a trip to the lumber yard from Downbound Train
Every house needs a nice garden, so how about a mongrel tree?
