Yes and no.I watched some of the Facebook Live stream of the show, mainly the newer songs and I'd go back to watching Rocky when they bust into a classic; basically I wanted to hear what I haven't had my fill of live and I can wait for the Live Download for the rest of the show.
I watched the "Nightshift" performance last night and was swept away. Need that Live Download two days ago.
In addition to writing my reviews I'm also gonna use these shows to get properly back into my walking. I've just walked a 2hr+ route there (actually I'm still on it now). Let's see if I can blend listening, writing and fitness on this tour!#ParisAbs? Hahahaha.
I am looking forward to this tour now after the build up to last night...slowly, I am making my way back to Springsteen and all of you again. Looking at the videos from last night I am excited but also worried that this is ending sooner than later. It is a thing that has kept me alive in dark times...the tickets, the lack of a L.A. show very much disapointed me to a degree that was frightening. I am slowly making my way back and I am sure between now and 2024 there will be many downloads and good times talking about the shows.
In the annoucement for the downloads I think they said "Promptly" I am interested in seeing how quick they can be...these mixes will be harder than a Phish show so we will see.
Yeah, I’ll take that. Good solid start & it’ll be interesting to see how it evolves, particularly making the jump from arena into Euro-stadiums. Loving the Burning Train placing, and the pee break (for men of a certain age) midway thru. No Sunny Day kids - yay!
Surely there’ll be a WS song or two dropped in and I’d give my eye teeth for Priest, just once, with a full on 3 guitar outro. All is not lost - keep a hold of those München tickets @berlintramp !
I too started to follow the SLV thread a couple of days ago (old habits...) I'm feeling somewhat relieved this morning. Disappointed about nothing from WS, that has time to change but overall a pretty good setlist I think.
Wandered over to the old home with the intention of just perusing Setlistvision. I got caught up in all the excitement and ended up posting multiple times in the thread (first posts on GL in ages). Setlistvision over there always was good fun.
It was all helped by a couple of live FB feeds that streamed the entire show. Let's just say there was a period of 2 hours and 40 minutes today where my 'working from home" was anything but.
For those who haven't seen or heard any of it yet, check out DITD... after blowing me away with how good the band played for a first up show following 6 years off, they buggered up one of the staples. Well, Bruce did... came in vocally way too early. That was a funny moment.
I'll repeat, I was impressed to the point of being overwhelmed by how good both Bruce and the band sounded. Blew my expectations away completely... I was hoping they'd get to this sort of level after a dozen of so shows, but straight of out of the gate? ... wow.
Nightshift was sublime. House Of Guitars into Backstreets was an inspired pairing. The acoustic versions of both Last Man and See You In My Dreams were beautiful.
The down side, although given all I saw was the limited angles from the two FB feeds, is that the physical side of the performance appears to have really slowed down. But blessedly this has not affected the power of the music, which tempo wise was at least equal to 6 years ago if not even 10 years ago. I'm more than happy for Bruce to be still at his mic for two thirds of the gig if it means he is not wasting energy wandering the stage and is channeling it all into the music itself.
Having seen a couple of videos today of this, it just gets better each time. I wasn't sure about the added backing vocals on first hearing, but they've become a full on earworm after a few listens.
That's a solid setlist, featuring more of the recent songs than I expected. I hope he keeps it current with the last three albums. I'm still not bothering to look at Oregon ticket availability, but I'm here for the downloads. I need some of this newer stuff live.

For probably the first time ever….I’m not particularly excited about Bruce hitting the stage with The E Street Band…..hoping to get that feeling back, but I have my doubts.
Anyone else avoiding audience videos? Dunno if I’ll maintain it for 12 weeks, but want that undiluted thrill when they kick into the 1st song.
Same as that.
I'd imagine "See you in my dreams" will be a staple as show closer.
I'd imagine it will make me cry.

Woke up today wishing the Download was up.

So, nothing from WS, right?
