Not a huge PF fan, but thinking more in Bruce terms. I would've bet anything almost that the full Tempe audio would be released as a stand alone CD back in 2015 or (at worst) 2016 coinciding with the tour.
Well, that ship has well and truly sailed now obviously, but why the hell not just put the whole Bob Clearmountain mixed show on the streaming services at this point? It's clearly already done, so zero cost to Bruce Inc, and from there I realise streaming income is pittance compared to the old physical release but surely whatever pittance you get from Spotify et al is still more than what you get from it sitting in the vault.
As a guy who doesn't have the technical knowledge to convert DVD Audio into MP3 thank goodness people share. It must have something to do with Sony having the rights to it ..... But mind blowing ....Honestly for what i paid for the box set .... a certificate for a digital downlaod would have been nice ....never mind CD's of the show ..... As much as i love 7-9-81 ...from a sound standpoint ...Tempe is still the gold standard of The River Tour shows.
